George Lai - Founder
George Lai, co-founder of C.A.M.P., brought his passion for mentorship and education to the organization, believing that every child deserves the opportunity to flourish. With decades of experience in youth programming, George’s leadership has been instrumental in creating a camp environment that prioritizes inclusion, personal growth, and fun. His unwavering belief in the power of community has helped countless campers discover their potential, fostering a sense of purpose and connection that continues to inspire generations. Today, George continues to champion our mission, serving as the Girls Camp Director since 1992 and the Boys Camp Director since 1994.
Wilmer Fong - Founder
Wilmer Fong has been a guiding force behind C.A.M.P. since its inception in 1984. With a vision to make summer camp accessible to all children, Wilmer co-founded the organization to provide transformative experiences that inspire leadership, teamwork, and resilience.
A lifelong educator, Wilmer’s commitment to youth development is at the heart of everything he does, ensuring that each camper leaves with skills, memories, and values that last a lifetime. His dedication has shaped C.A.M.P. into a thriving community where kids can grow, learn, and thrive, no matter their background. Since 1994, he has continued to serve our mission as Camp Director Emeritus and Principal Fundraiser.
