GIRLS CAMP
A Leadership Camp for Young Women
Girls Camp is a three-day program designed for girls ages 10–18, offering an inspiring blend of adventure, creativity, and personal growth. With around 30 participants, the camp provides a safe and supportive environment where young women can connect with peers, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
Campers stay in tents shared with three others, fostering a sense of fellowship and teamwork. To ensure safety and comfort, C.A.M.P. provides sleeping bags, and campers are required to bring flashlights with extra batteries for evening activities. The camp is led primarily by women volunteers who create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere built on educational principles. Male volunteers lend support behind the scenes for activities like rope climbing and woodworking, ensuring a well-rounded experience.
Over the course of the program, campers engage in a wide range of activities, including swimming, archery, hiking, singing, music, crafts, cooking, and team-building exercises. Evening campfires bring everyone together for storytelling, games, songs, and reflection, creating a strong sense of community and fellowship.
The program also features an overnight backpacking hike where campers learn outdoor living skills, fostering independence and personal responsibility. Daily community meetings provide opportunities for campers to share personal experiences, build connections, and reflect on their growth.
Girls Camp emphasizes hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration, allowing each camper to explore her potential in a fun and empowering setting. By the end of the program, participants leave with new skills, cherished friendships, and a renewed sense of belonging and self-confidence, making Girls Camp a truly transformative experience.
